Introduction

This topic shows you how set up PBSA POS so that you can scan the barcode in the Australian Red Meat Industry Standard Variable Weight Carton Label (previously called UCC/EAN-128) to add products to a sale.

To implement GS1-128 Barcodes

1. Ensure your barcode scanner is configured to read this symbology

2. Have the supplier code that is in the barcode entered in as your primary supplier's code for this product in PBSA POS

   The supplier code in the barcode is the last digits after the (21)
